Wreck the Stage, Make a Scene (Spiny Norman Remix)

from Wreck the Stage, Make a Remix by Glutton

about

Spiny Norman aka Jon Arild Eriksen (Rumble in Rhodos, Hope I Die Virgin) has reworked "Wreck the Stage ..." into a dangerously catchy and beautifully ornamented piece. Spiny's music is equally informed by the trance music pioneers of 70’s electronic outfits such as Cluster, Harmonia and Tangerine Dream, 90’s techno legends Orbital and the Chemical Brothers, and the more serene, yet energetic work of current artists like Machinedrum, Lone and The Field.

Spiny has created with his novel reinterpretation a mellow atmosphere where he mixes elements from trip hop, drum&base and 90’s big beat to create a EDM party anthem equally suited for the sunset on Ibiza as well as the gritty clubs of Detroit.
